Sefat Ullah was born on November 5, 1946, in Sonadanga, Khulna, Bangladesh to a rich Muslim family. But his hometown is Chandpur. He was a talented student since early life. Later he studied at the University of Dhaka and became its professor.
Sefat Ullah Career:
Sefat Ullah kicked off the career journey as a professor at the University of Dhaka in 1980 and continue his journey until 1985. Now he is a professor at an Austrian University. Apart from he also doing a part-time job in a shop.
Earlier he worked in BTV as a poem reader. In addition, he is a freedom fighter of the Liberation War of Bangladesh. In 85, he went to Saudi Arabia then Austria in 1991 and never backed from Austria.

In personal life, Sefat Ullah is a married man and has a son. But he separated from the family for a long time. His wife was a BTV employer.
Religion:
Sefat Ullah addressed himself as an atheist in several blogs. But he was a Sunni Muslim. It is known that he completed Hazz in holy place Macca. In 2013, he may leave the religion when some religious critic and atheist were killed.
