Shirin Akter Shela is a Bangladeshi student who crowned Miss Universe Bangladesh for the first time. In fact, she draws the huge public eyes when her name was announced as the winner of Miss Universe Bangladesh competition on October 23, 2019, at International Convention City Bashundhara in Dhaka.
Alisha Islam and Jessia Islam have respectively become the first and second-runner up in the grand finale. She crowned by the Bollywood superstar Sushmita Sen, a Miss Universe titleholder. Shela will represent Bangladesh in the 68th Miss Universe Bangladesh in the United States in December.
Earlier Rafah Nanjeba Torsa was crowned Miss World Bangladesh 2019 who will also represent Bangladesh in the main event of Miss World competition.

Shirin Akter Shela was born in 1999, in Pirganj, an Upazila of Thakurgaon District, Bangladesh. Her father is a Sainik. She grew up in Thakurgaon but comes to Dhaka for higher education. In Dhaka, she admitted into the University of Dhaka in the department of physics.
Now, she is a third-year student at Dhaka University. She dreamed of to be a model in early life subsequently comes to the beauty pageant competition and win the title.
