He started writing songs in his early childhood and practicing songs like himself.

Nachiketa Chakraborty kicked off his journey in the music industry releasing his debut music album ‘Ei Besh Bhalo Achi‘ in 1993. The music album goes viral around the subcontinent and never looked back. In fact, he earned huge fame across India and Bangladesh for his song Nilanjona. The talented singer Nachiketa has written more than 300 songs and lends his voice to these songs.
In addition, he is remarkable for the song ‘Bridhashram’ which was sung in 1999. He was the singer and music director for the movie ‘Hothat Bristi‘ all the songs in this movie gets huge popularity and the same is still now. Producer Rana Sarker going to make a movie with the song Nilanjona.
