The controversy raises embroiled Pakistani journalist Mehr Tarar when Shashi Tharoor’s wife Sunanda Pushkar was found dead under mysterious circumstance in a hotel in Delhi on January 17, 2014. It is said that the love relationship between Mehr and Tharoor lead Pushkar to death.
Sunanda had accused Tarar that she take the chance when she (Sunanda) tried to break the marriage. She also stated to media that she wants a divorce from Shashi Tharoor for his extramarital affairs with Mehr Tarar.
