Early Life, Family & Father:
GK Shamim was born in 1980, in Narayanganj, Bangladesh. His father Afsar Uddin was a primary school teacher of Harhardi Govt. Primary School. In fact, he had a humble background in early life. After completing high school education, he left the village.
Career, Politics, Casino:
GK Shamim comes to Dhaka and started a grocery shop. Later he comes to close off some Juba League leaders and turned into success the wheel of luck. He started a contractor business and emerged as tender controlling person in Dhaka. Then Shamim began running an illegal casino managing some political leader and officers of administration.
GK Shamim Arrest:
On September 20, 2019, GK Shamim was arrested by The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in allegation of running an illegal casino. He was arrested with six arms hold cohorts and recovered huge money from his home.
Most of the political organization Juba League, Awami League, and Juba Dal refused to have any connection with him. It is reported that he had several extra-marital affairs with several women.
