Abubacarr Tambadou also known as Ba Tambadou is a famous Gambian politician and lawyer who grabbed the huge media attention for filing a suit against Myanmar at the International Court of Justice in The Hague, Netherlands. He has been serving as the Minister of Justice and Attorney General in President Adama Barrow’s cabinet since 2017.
Earlier, he worked as a lawyer at the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda. He filed the case against Myanmar’s army accusing that the made genocide against the Muslim minority in Rakhine state on the Rohingya. Tambadou becomes a hero to the people of Bangladesh and Rohingya.
