Sunny was born in 1998, in Amarpura Basti, Bathinda, Punjab, India to parents Manak Ram and Soma. His father is a singer where the mother is a balloon seller. He completed schooling from Bathinda’s Govt. Senior Secondary School.
However, he dropped out due to extensive fond of music and cultural function. After 6th standard, his father gifted him Harmonium and a Tabla. He has three sisters, two of them are Rekha and Maya.
A tragic situation comes in his life when father passed away in 2014 due to prolonged illness. Following the demise of his father the responsibility of family falls on his shoulder and started working as a boot polisher to maintain family cost.
Sunny Career:
After passing a hardship early life, Sunny kicked off the career journey in the music arena in 2014, singing the song ‘Akhiyan De Buhe’ released by TMC Punjabi. This year, he participated in the television show ‘Entertainment Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega’. In fact, he rose to fame in the music arena after being the top 10 performers in the biggest music reality show Indian Idol season 11.
